We book Singita Mara River Tented Camp for travellers who want the Singita name in its most intimate form — just six suites, set on a spectacular bend of the Mara River inside a private, unfenced 98,000-acre concession in the remote Lamai Triangle. It's one of the smallest camps in Singita's collection, and one of the most design-led, refreshed in 2023 with interiors inspired by Maasai geometric patterns and locally made furniture.
Because wildlife moves freely between the concession and the national park, guests get exceptionally private access to the same landscape everyone comes north for — including the Great Migration's river crossings. Days here move at an unhurried pace: twice-daily game drives, a plunge pool overlooking the bush, and a food and wellness programme built around the camp's quiet, close-to-nature character.
